Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our European Space Talent Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the evolving needs of our organisation.
Responsibilities- Work closely with our European Space Talent Acquisition team to find awesome talents across Europe for Serco, international space agencies, and national space agencies.
- Analyse job descriptions and SoW's to extract core responsibilities and requirements, ensuring the most suitable candidates are identified.
- Schedule and plan requirements to ensure all deadlines are met, creating actions in our ATS system (Tribepad / Phenom).
- Advertise vacancies through appropriate channels, ensuring active applicants are reached.
- Headhunt potential candidates to reach passive applicants.
- Evaluate applicant submissions to determine if they meet requirements.
- Perform pre-screening and preliminary interviews via TEAMS video conferencing.
- Maintain pertinent applicant and interview data in our ATS system.
- Build talent pipelines/networks of candidates through our ATS system for future hiring needs (succession planning).
- Ensure required documents for client submissions are to a high standard to provide the best representation possible and comply with customer requirements.
- Support scheduling and arranging interviews with key customers.
- Participate in general tenders and restricted tenders' preparation concerning delivery team sourcing and presentations.
- Contribute to streamlining processes and procedures to help grow the company.
- Collaborate with marketing department to promote targeted recruitment campaigns for key hires.
- Continually improve the team's knowledge base regarding positions, industry, candidate profiling, and risk identification.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on space recruitment and engage actively on LinkedIn and other business-related social media platforms.
- Represent Serco at space conferences/events in-person and online.
- A good understanding of the European Space sector is advantageous but not essential.
- At least 2 years of high street recruitment experience in commercial roles or technical roles such as IT/Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A willingness to advance your career in recruitment.
- A strong sense of integrity.
- A team player mentality.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus but not essential.
