Software Engineer Opportunity

As a skilled software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance microservices and distributed systems. You will work on complex projects that follow the guidelines of clean architecture approach, SOLID, and utilize many design patterns.

You will use MVVM/MVI architecture pattern, work with multimodular project separated by feature/layer, and leverage the newest frameworks like Koin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance microservices and distributed systems
  • Manage risks and issues with the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with project management team and ensure all testing and reviews are properly scheduled and conducted
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor other developers, ensure consistency, quality, and best practices
  • Contribute to technical architecture decisions and platform engineering initiatives
  • Be an independent developer and take ownership of upcoming tasks
  • Work on complex system with multiple projects

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a developer
  • Willing to collaborate remotely 2-3 times per week
  • 3+ years of production Go experience with expertise in goroutines, channels, and Go testing frameworks
  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies – preferably ShapeUp
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (min. B2 level)
  • Experience with any modern frontend programming language – ideally ES6 JavaScript, and a modern framework (React is a plus)
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Professional experience with MongoDB
  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience with Cloud providers, ideally AWS
