 Current Opportunity:

Right now, we´re seeking a Group Compliance Manager to join our great Legal & Compliance department. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Compliance activities within the Group, incl. provision of compliance advisory services, and ensure the Group is in full compliance with relevant legislation and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards in all jurisdictions in which the business holds licenses.  He or she is also responsible for compliance audits and examinations, research on compliance issues, training, and their organizations' overall compliance policies and procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:

Your daily activities will include, but not limited to:

Regulatory compliance & development

• Ensure regulatory compliance with betting/gaming and other legislations and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards in all jurisdictions in which the business holds licenses.
• Ensure compliance audits and examinations, the dissemination and analysis of new or revised laws and regulations, research on compliance issues, training, and their organizations' overall compliance policies and procedures.
• Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly, as well as preparing on demand monthly and quarterly reports for the department.
• Compliance Risk Assessment update / execution; Set up & perform Anti-fraud risk assessment and formulate compliance checklists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information required is provided accordingly.

 Policy development

• Participate in the preparation of guidance and organizational documents of the Company (guidelines, rules, work procedures, etc.). Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
• Review and draft internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.

Administrative and other duties

• Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team.
• Ensure effective co-operation with the other departments of the Group

 What We're Looking For:

You should have experience in:

• University degree in any relevant discipline.
• At least eight years of experience as a compliance manager or senior specialist ideally in a leading international organization with CEE presence, with a proven track record of providing strong and effective leadership and adding value to an organization through development of comprehensive regulatory framework that mitigates the risks.
• Experience in the betting/gaming industry including Responsible betting/gaming and Player Protection best practices.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills necessary for interaction with the Governments, the Judicial systems and negotiating parties; `
• Excellent knowledge of English, Czech (or Slovak

It would be a bonus if you bring:

• Knowledge and experience with laws dealing with government.
• Ability to provide independent advice (orally and in writing) to senior level management on highly technical matters.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory law.
• Take control and exercises leadership. Initiates action, gives direction and takes responsibility.
