Sr. Project Manager

GoodData's Professional Services team works with our customers to build data analytics solutions using the GoodData platform; and build and customize analytical / reporting products to implement into clients' systems. Our team is obsessed with guiding our customers to achieve value with our products in the shortest time possible. We play a critical role in managing the technical ins and outs of the implementation, as well as helping our customers realize the powerful business uses of our tools.

As a Senior Project Manager in our team, you will be the person who guides our customers, as well as our engineers, throughout the implementation of the desired custom solution.

• Managing multiple projects and initiatives from kickoff and planning to review and close. Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within the budget, and to the required quality specifications.

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer project implementation matters, and build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.

• Contribute to the definition of business and functional requirements (product strategy, roadmap); scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.

• Anticipating and proactively managing project risks, costs, and issues. Escalating issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate project sponsor.

• Analysis of reporting requirements, workflows, roles, and target personas; with the objective of finding out how analytical & reporting solutions can support their business goals.

• At least 4 years of recent experience in managing external projects in the tech industry.

• Always put customers first - this may require the ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changes in business and solution negotiations.

• Business acumen, excellent presentation, listening, and writing skills.

• Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.

• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and collaborate with internal and external team players to create solutions to meet client needs.

• Strong negotiation skills, being able to paint a vision and work strategically as well as tactically toward a specific goal.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Knowledge of BI concepts and architecture.

• Experience with Product Ownership-related work.

• Technical background related to building scalable BI solutions.
