About this Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Service Technician to join our team in Prague. In this field-based role, you will serve as the primary representative for our infection control products, including washer-disinfectors, sterilizers, and other equipment used for the reprocessing of medical instruments.

Our service department supports the Czech market with the installation, maintenance, spare parts, training, technical support, as well as on-site commissioning and validation of our equipment. With a dedicated team of service technicians across the country, we ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality service for our customers.

What You Will Do

As a Field Service Technician at Getinge, you will be a key member of an engaged and knowledgeable service team. Together, we share expertise, a passion for our work, and a common goal — to contribute to better healthcare through the service and maintenance of medical technology equipment.

You will have a varied and independent role with frequent customer contact. Your main focus will be the service and installation of equipment within the Infection Control business area, particularly our advanced washer-disinfectors and sterilizers.

The position is based in Prague. You will work from home and travel to customers using your company service vehicle. Our customers include hospitals and private clinics.

In this role, you will:

• Perform service, maintenance, and installation of equipment
• Carry out quality and safety updates
• Plan and coordinate work in collaboration with our Service Manager
• Support the sales team through close cooperation and technical expertise
• Represent Getinge as the face of our brand, ensuring excellent service quality and working proactively to maximize customer satisfaction

What You Will Bring

To be successful in this position, we believe you have the following qualifications:

• Documented competence in electrical engineering
• Ability to perform under pressure with a strong customer focus
• Proficiency in Czech and English
• A valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel and adjust working hours as needed
• Good computer skills and an active interest in technology and software solutions, ideally with some familiarity with SQL
