About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Team Leader to drive revenue growth, foster customer relationships, and develop a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will balance sales leadership with a customer-centric approach, consistently delivering exceptional results while maintaining the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Performance
· Drive sales growth in the region by improving revenue, gross profit, and bid win ratios
· Analyze key sales metrics including quote conversion rates, margins, and order backlog to ensure continuous improvement
· Collaborate with Key Account Management to align sales strategies, including proactive customer management and consistent quote follow-up
· Identify new sales opportunities through proactive customer relationships, including cross-selling and upselling during every interaction
· Lead initiatives to ensure sales readiness, equipping your team with the tools and knowledge to exceed performance targets
Proactive Customer Relationships
· Build a culture of proactive outreach, encouraging outbound customer contacts to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities
· Ensure the team consistently follows up on quotes and opportunities, improving win rates and gaining competitive advantage
Customer-Centricity
· Act as the voice of the customer within the sales organization, ensuring customer needs take priority in decision-making
· Deliver outstanding customer experiences by offering solutions tailored to customer challenges while maintaining a professional, empathetic approach in all interactions
Team Development & Leadership
· Mentor, develop, and coach the Inside Sales team to achieve a balance between sales performance and customer-centric mindset
· Provide regular performance evaluations, including detailed reviews of individual sales results
· Inspire the team to embrace innovation and digital transformation, ensuring they achieve competitive market results
Continuous Improvement
· Analyze sales and customer data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve team performance and customer outcomes
· Conduct regular team meetings to share successes, review challenges, and align on strategic priorities
· Actively participate in cross-departmental projects, ensuring Inside Sales contributes to broader organizational goals
