  • You are responsible for managing existing lease contracts for the current fleet and generating new leasing opportunities in the passenger train business.
  • You have close contact with existing and potential new customers and operators, as well as other stakeholders of the sector such as public transport authorities, suppliers, or relevant industry associations. This includes networking and participation at conferences
  • You conduct thorough research on the local market to identify new business opportunities. Using this information, you develop and present detailed business cases to our management team.
  • You work in interdisciplinary teams on the conception, development, negotiation, and documentation of complex commercial contracts with customers and suppliers. Projects include for instance European tenders for railway operations and rolling stock.
  • You are in charge of (Key) Account Management of our leasing customers and liaise between them and our internal departments such as Engineering, Finance, Accounting and Legal.
  • You follow Alpha Trains Vision, Mission and Values and comply with internal approvals and authorisations.
  • You help to develop our product offerings and operational procedures to meet market needs.
Qualifications
  • You have a degree in Business Studies, Economics, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • You have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, of which at least 5 years in the railway industry in Czechia and/or Slovakia.
  • You have a good knowledge on public tender law.
  • You are a native speaker of Czech or Slovak and fluent in English.
  • You are willing to travel frequently within Czechia and Slovakia, and once a month to Cologne/Germany.
  • You are an assertive and confident negotiator, with strong communication and networking skills.
  • You are a responsible team player with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • You can quickly understand and structure complicated information and complex situations.
