The Company

A well-established international financial group with headquarters in Cyprus is expanding its crypto operations in the Czech Republic. The company is building a regulated exchange and preparing for MiCA licensing, with all legal and compliance documentation handled by top-tier external firms.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Managing Director to lead and scale their Czech operations. You'll drive efficiency, strengthen collaboration across teams, and ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives. The role calls for someone who can navigate both structure and change ideally with experience in crypto, fintech, or banking.

You'll oversee key operational areas, support team leads, and help align local operations with group-level objectives across multiple countries. Its a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Location: Hybrid in Prague, the Czech Republic

What You'll Do

  • Manage daily operations across AML and IT, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and delivery excellence
  • Act as the link between departments, promoting effective collaboration on cross-functional projects
  • Lead major operational and strategic initiatives from concept to completion
  • Support and develop team leads, creating a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with international teams to align local processes with global goals.
  • Identify gaps and optimize workflows to improve productivity and cost-efficiency

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven experience in senior operations or management roles within crypto, fintech, or banking
  • Strong project management background comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic mindset paired with strong execution ability
  • Fluency in English and Czech (written and spoken)
  • Degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with group companies and stakeholders
