Job Description Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist/People Consultant for Czechia and Slovakia to join our People Team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating and managing processes critical to the employment lifecycle, managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with HR policies. This role involves supporting various HR functions including benefits administration, compliance, and employee onboarding.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the administration of employee benefits programs.

  • Conduct employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Manage complex individual employee cases such as long-term leaves.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Partner with the HR Shared Service Center to document and optimize HR processes, enhancing the employee experience.

  • Manage correspondence with employees and external authorities.

  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers.

  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects related to talent management, performance management, and compensation review.

  • Manage employee relations issues, addressing employee concerns and grievances, conducting investigations as needed to ensure timely and fair resolutions.

  • Prepare and analyze HR data, ensuring accuracy in our people data.

  • Support other HR activities in collaboration with local People Partner.
     

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist role or similar.

  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak and English essential.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite, Workday knowledge a plus.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
