IT SAP Finance Expert

POSITION PURPOSE

The SAP Finance Expert is responsible for operation, support and continuous improvement of SAP Finance and Controlling modules. He/she will be in daily touch with business key users to ensure good delivery of IT service and their satisfaction. He/she should work closely with them and propose system and process improvements. He/she must also follow up business requirements from company service desk, define and manage delivery of corrective actions and acceptance from business. He/she will oversee delivering small projects (changes) to business users including training and documentation.

The SAP Finance Expert is participating on business/IT projects providing support for part of scope related to his/her domain of expertise and inputs for project deliverables. He/she would be also responsible for management of partial project delivery or whole small project (change implementation). He/she will co-operate on interesting SAP projects with international teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Operational Excellence

2. Contribute to and communicate the operations and maintenance of SAP systems especially in FI/CO area/modules.

3. Follow the IT security and quality processes
4. Analyze and map clients' business requirements, processes and objectives.
5. Providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
6. Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
7. Provide specialized system knowledge to allow system or process improvements
8. Take responsibility for the technical solution of incidents in area of expertise, reacting quickly to limit impacts and resolve the issue.
9. Liaising with other IT teams on bug fixes and solution enhancements
10. Prioritize individual incidents or change requests and ensuring the delivery of solutions in line with the operational level agreements to deadlines and quality standards
11. Defining and documenting of operation procedures, new functionality and scope of development or customizing
12. The delivery of documentation to agreed standards, on time and error free

13. Ensure the user authorizations and roles are well maintained in respective area

14. Customer Relationship

15. Providing technical advice and troubleshooting for FI/CO area/modules

16. Cross-training and presentations for colleagues and business key users
17. Delivering user guides and support documentation to business key users
18. Ensuring customer satisfaction with SAP solution and proposing enhancements based on customer requirements

19. Plan IT deliveries based on customer needs

20. Project Contribution

21. Working in a small group providing primarily technical and limited business support for project team

22. Preparing data for project teams based close co-operation with business key users
23. Coordinate small project activities and deliveries in FI/CO area/modules

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Practical experience with SAP is a must
• Practical experience with customizing SAP FI and/or SAP CO
• Experience with other SAP modules is advantage
• Experience with SAP BW or any other data warehouse or BI tools is advantage
• Experience with programming and/or database languages is advantage
• Good knowledge of technologies and business processes used in specific domain
• Experience dealing with users and/or clients from both a business and technical perspective
• Experience with SAP projects is beneficial
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to listen and cooperate with other people
• Good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and coordinate small teams
• Ability to work on his/her own initiative and within a team environment
• Ability to investigate and analyze problems and propose solutions
• A practical, methodical and structured approach to work
• English language on at least upper-intermediate level
