Job Description:

Purpose:

This position is for a Center Technical Support (CTS) Management Specialist within the Power Technology Reliability Center supporting all Central Office, Mobility MTSO, U-verse VHO, IDC, AGN/EMEA/Int'l, and Classic T Power and Infrastructure.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide tech solutions and leadership for Power maintenance and surveillance.

Job Functions:

  • Part of a 24/7/365 staff delivering network tech support (this position will require weekend and holiday shifts).
  • Provides technical troubleshooting and leadership required to recover from the most complex network infrastructure problems. Identification of root cause, resolution, work arounds, testing and implementation new processes or design changes.
  • CTS Management Specialist works closely with business partners GNFO, ATS Power/Alarms, CRE/Property Management, vendors, GNOC, and other TRCs to identify/quantify business issues, develop/implement business strategy, and assist in setting strategic tech direction in support of Network Operations.
  • Assists in providing leadership for projects, including collaborating with teams within Network Operations and defining business and/or tech requirements and preparing detailed plans/schedules.
  • May review and interpret technical documentation and vendor specs for technical support role.

Required Experience:

  • Typically at least 1-3 years of successful network operations or related experience.
  • Previous experience with ticketing and escalation systems/tool advantageous
  • Detailed-oriented, Self-driven, Responsible
  • Great English language skills
  • Ability to work in 3-shift pattern (including night and weekend)

Location:

Brno, 1 day in office needed (after training)

Compensation : Salary starting from 46,000 CZK gross monthly. The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.
