Co budete mít na starosti:

Dodržování předpisů a Finanční výkaznictví: Zajišťování souladu s účetními standardy a příprava finančních výkazů v souladu s regulatorními požadavky.
Vedení hlavní knihy: Vedení a kontrola účtů hlavní knihy a zajištění přesného zaúčtování všech finančních transakcí.
Měsíční a roční uzávěrka účetních knih: Řízení procesů uzávěrky na konci měsíce a roku, včetně zápisů do deníku, kontroly a finanční analýzy.
Daně: Dohled nad dodržováním daňových předpisů, včetně DPH, daně z příjmů právnických osob atd.
Podpora auditu: Spolupráce s externím a interním auditem, poskytování potřebné dokumentace a vysvětlení.
Správa objednávek: Vedení a správa objednávek pro vnitropodnikové transakce i objednávky třetích stran včetně uznávání výnosů a činností od objednávky po inkaso (upomínky).
Zlepšování procesů: Identifikace možností pro zlepšení procesů s cílem zvýšit efektivitu a přesnost finančního výkaznictví.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our local finance team at Bühler Praha. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. This position requires experience in accounting and financial reporting, as well as understanding of Czech and international IFRS accounting standards. This position is available at either of our office locations in Prague or Jihlava.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Compliance and Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Taxation: Oversee and manage tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other Czech taxes.
Audit Support: Support external and internal audit, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Order Management: Maintain and process sales orders for intercompany transactions and 3rd party orders. This includes turnover recognition and order to cash activities (dunning).
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

How we imagine you:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Around 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with good knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with SAP will be an advantage.
Language: English and Czech on a professional level.
Attributes: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, communication skills, ability to implement changes effectively.
