Ideally, you have over 2 years of experience as a software engineering manager, leading teams responsible for high-scale production services. You possess at least 5 years of professional software development experience, contributing to the development of full-stack web applications and/or distributed systems. You excel at aligning and executing new technical ideas, demonstrating an understanding of best practices. Proven experience in driving effective execution with agile processes in a dynamic environment. A people-oriented leader, capable of modelling and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. Exceptional at communicating, passionate about technology and committed to raising the bar. Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones is advantageous. Proficient in English. Bonus Points: Hands-on experience designing and building cloud-native architecture for AWS, GCP, or similar. Why Box needs you: Storage Platform team designs and maintains core services that form the first line of interaction between various protocols (like FTP uploads or email uploads) and Box’s content API stack. Their work directly impacts user experience by managing critical data ingress/egress flows at scale.
