WHO YOU ARE? 2+ years experience as an engineering manager of teams building high-scale production services. 5+ years of professional software development experience building APIs/services. Experience driving effective execution with agile processes in a highly dynamic environment. Strong communicator, passionate about technology, and eager to raise the bar. Experience working with distributed teams in different time zones. Must speak English proficiently. BONUS POINTS FOR Experience bootstrapping a new team. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services. Experience building, deploying and operating microservices on Kubernetes. The Content Capabilities team is relatively new and is tasked with the ambitious goal of supporting the Box Content Cloud’s next 10x wave of growth. We aim to achieve this by building innovative new platform capabilities, enabling our product teams and customers to build intuitive and differentiated experiences that scale to millions of users. We’re close to delivering the first set of features, unlocking new use cases and significantly increasing the scale at which users can collaborate on content. The team is just getting started though and has a strong roadmap of new capabilities to build. That's where you come in As we embark on this journey, we're looking for a highly capable Engineering Manager to join us and play a pivotal role. You'll have the opportunity to work with a small team of talented, collaborative, and fun people, solving some of the toughest challenges in the content management space.
