The Marketing department at Arden is responsible for delivering student acquisition and lifecycle campaigns that are insight-led, high performing, and creatively ambitious. As we expand our operations, we are investing heavily in Marketing Cloud capabilities to enable smarter, more personalised communications across the entire student journey — from first enquiry through to enrolment, progression, and beyond. This role sits within a growing team focused on campaign automation, CRM integration, and multi-channel delivery — supporting Arden's transformation towards more data-driven, always-on student marketing.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator will serve as the primary technical owner of Marketing Cloud at Arden. You will ensure the platform is optimally configured, integrated with Salesforce CRM and other systems, and continuously enhanced to support enterprise-level marketing automation and student engagement. In this role you will: 

• Configure and manage Marketing Cloud applications including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Advertising Studio, and Interaction Studio. 
• Build and optimise multi-channel communications across email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and personalised journeys. 
• Ensure platform performance, scalability, and compliance with GDPR, security, and data governance best practices. 
• Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. 
• Act as the go-to technical expert for SFMC, driving continuous improvement and innovation across campaigns. 

Essential requirements:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification. 
• 3+ years' hands-on experience managing SFMC in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. 
• Strong knowledge of SFMC components (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Interaction Studio, Mobile Studio). 
• Experience with data extensions, segmentation, and CRM integration. Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities. 
• Knowledge of email deliverability best practices (domain authentication, sender reputation, IP warming).

Desirable requirements:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification. 
• Familiarity with Einstein, predictive analytics, and emerging Salesforce features.
• Experience in higher education or similar sectors. 
• Experience with campaign ROI reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
