Our locations and people: We operate in 7 countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine) and with over 700 engineers belong to the largest company in its sector in the region.

Our servicesConsultancy We provide basic evaluation, task and project objective definition, optimization studies, variant investigations, feasibility studies, and investment cost estimates.

  • Civil Engineering We design facilities to meet the future business and operational needs of our clients within all disciplines in house.
  • Process Integration We integrate your process systems from raw materials to factory.
  • ISBL Projects O&G, Refining, Hydrogen and CO2 capture core process knowhow. Close cooperation with licensors.
  • PMC Project management, construction management - we steer the whole project from start to finish. With the highest safety time schedule budget quality and sustainability in mind.
  • EPCm All services in one package covers optimized solutions from first business case idea to commissioning bringing best optimized solution for our clients.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to strengthen Bilfinger CEE's presence in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In this senior role, you will shape our growth strategy, identify new market opportunities, and build lasting partnerships with key clients and stakeholders across the industrial sector.

This position offers the chance to work on diverse and strategic projects, influence company direction in the region, and collaborate with international colleagues in an innovative and dynamic environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive new business opportunities and market segments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia within Bilfinger CEE.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Lead the preparation of solution proposals, commercial offers, and tenders.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, consulting, project management, marketing) to deliver technically and commercially viable solutions.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, regulations, and technological developments to keep our offering competitive and innovative.

  • Define and implement growth strategies for CZ & SK in alignment with Bilfinger CEE's overall strategic goals.

  • Contribute and support strategic activities of CEE business development team

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in business development or sales in the industrial sector, preferably process or mechanical engineering.

  • background in engineering/consulting or project management and execution is highly valued.

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record in closing complex contracts.

  • Experience managing teams and engaging multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region.

  • Office location: Prague or Pardubice
