Strategic Insight Manager - Consumer Journey, RRP

 

 

 

What this position is about – Purpose:

 

The Strategic Insight Manager is a key player in the development and implementation of the Commercial Engine process, aimed at enhancing Ploom Consumer Journey. This role involves significant contributions to the creation and refinement of this innovative platform, collecting and analyzing data, and providing actionable insights across the funnel. The position requires close collaboration with Brand Marketing and Sales Teams to define and measure KPIs for each segment of the journey, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Play a pivotal role in the initial development and ongoing refinement of the Commercial Engine process, including setting and tracking activity targets, quarterly objectives/KPIs, and budget allocations.
  • Collect, synthesize, and analyze consumer behavior and market trend data to drive strategic decisions and provide actionable insights across various stages of the consumer journey.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Team to define, monitor, and evaluate KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and manage relationships with research agencies to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis.
  • Work in partnership with the Brand Consumer Journey Manager to ensure a cohesive strategy and effective implementation of insights and initiatives, while overseeing the execution of annual KPIs and research agendas.

 

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience in strategic insights, brand marketing or a similar role, preferably within FMCG sector.
  • Strong marketing background (5+ years) with an in-depth understanding of how consumer journeys are structured and optimized, including experience with a multi-channel approach that integrates both digital and traditional marketing channels to engage consumers effectively across different touchpoints.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with substantial experience in managing cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a comprehensive grasp of budgeting, strategic planning, and performance measurement.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies and experience in managing external agencies.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively deliver and sell ideas to key stakeholders.
