About the Role

Precisely Software is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Sales Insights & Analytics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales operations team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing reporting capabilities and data-driven insights in a software sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own a series of insights-driven reporting and analysis to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of curiosity, openness, and collaboration within the sales team.
  • Lead and manage forecasting analytics to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring predictable and repeatable growth in a software sales setting.
  • Assist with annual planning activities in partnership with the broader Sales Operations team, ensuring alignment with the evolving company strategy and organizational goals.
  • Craft and deliver executive presentations, showcasing the ability to distill complex software sales data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Establish and manage operational cadence to enhance productivity and streamline workflows in a software sales environment.
  • Drive the development and delivery of data packs to business leaders on a regular basis to provide insights, trigger robust conversation, and lead to acceleration of sales overall, across whitespace, renewals, customer success, channels, and traditional field sales.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs, monitoring sales performance data for actionable insights specific to software sales.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and plans, adjusting strategies based on market conditions.
Requirements
  • Forecasting and analytical skills with experience in software sales.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and BI tools.
  • Experience developing reporting and dashboards from scratch.
  • Solid business acumen, strategic planning, problem-solving, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
