Position

As a Retail Learning Manager, you will achieve the Learning Team's strategic objectives and take the learning lead on a range of different topics, responsibility and running the Learning function. You will play an invaluable role in developing our talents through coaching and training. You will be responsible for partnering with our Retail Managers to drive and execute the learning agenda with our stores. The Retail Learning Manager will play a key part in delivering an array of projects including elevation of our Client Experience tools and Team Development initiatives (induction, onboarding, academy and workshop).

The Retail Learning Manager will act as a "change Agent" to support culture changes across the business; driving a culture of empowerment, feedback and development.

You role will be a key interlocutor between our retail teams and Head Office functions.

Job responsibilities

Working as part of the Country Learning team, you will translate and execute the corporate training strategies within your defined stores with the Management teams across the region. You will define the roll-out plan to best contribute to business growth, supporting our retail colleagues through selling skills, product training and developing their careers. You will use active coaching techniques, instilling a feedback culture across the business.

Coaching and training at the heart of team performance :

  • Cultivate a coaching culture: offer tailored support and guidance to managers and client advisors.
  • Develop individualized coaching programs in collaboration with retail management.
  • Provide continuous feedback on progress to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and address skills gaps by adapting training as needed.
  • Provide consistent feedback to management and upskill on people management topics.
  • Collaborate with store management to develop annual learning roadmaps.
  • Identify and nurture training talent in collaboration with store management and HR.
  • Design and facilitate core training (inductions, workshops, etc.) with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain active shop floor presence to observe and provide real-time feedback. Identify potential training talent within the store to develop and partner in coaching others.

Animate and Facilitate Training :

  • Collaborate with store management to create business-aligned learning calendars.
  • Coordinate and communicate training programs effectively.
  • Enhance client experience through role-playing and on-the-floor coaching.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on training initiatives and identify ways to embed learning effectively.
  • Participate in EMEA learning projects, sharing and implementing best practices.

Reporting :

  • Monitor in-store training quality and impact via follow-up.
  • Manage the LMS and learning tracker, ensuring accurate records and proficient usage by store management.

On-boarding :

  • Ensure consistent onboarding for all new employees (sales & non-sales) in partnership with managers and HR.

General duties :

  • Lead by example and act as a trusted confidant to the store
  • Facilitate best practice sharing among stores in coaching initiatives.
  • Travel will be required as part of the role and frequent in-store presence.
Profile

We're seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for luxury, a talent for coaching, and a natural ability to connect with people. The ideal candidate will possess the following key strengths:

  • 5+ years of retail/customer service experience with a strong focus on client interaction and floor presence.
  • University graduate.
  • Experience in training animation is a plus.
  • Proven coaching skills.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
  • Organizational skills, results oriented and problem solving.
  • Proactive with good team spirit and able to take initiatives.
  • Passion in fashion, art and luxury retail industry.
  • Flexibility, willingness to travel regularly.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Fluency in both Czech and English (written and spoken) is essential
