Position Summary

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property. You will implement and monitor security measures, conduct audits, and support emergency response efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol hotel premises and monitor CCTV systems
  • Respond to emergency situations and administer first aid/CPR when needed
  • Investigate incidents and complete detailed reports
  • Enforce safety and security policies and procedures
  • Assist guests and team members during emergencies
  • Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments
  • Support training and development of security personnel
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in security or loss prevention
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred
