Facilities Technician – full-time – permanent

WHAT YOU'LL DO​

As a Facility Technician you will support maintaining facility systems and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and sustainability. You will apply your technical skills and collaborative mindset to support efficient operations at our new Distribution Center (DC) in Cheb, Karlovy Vary Region, Czechia. This state-of-the-art facility, spanning nearly 250,000 sqm and opening in the second half of 2026, will be the largest and most automated DC in our global network. Your main responsibilities include:

• Support in maintaining the site in optimal condition
• Implement and oversee activities to uphold safety and security standards within the DC
• Identify and resolve issues in facility systems and equipment
• Assist in supervising contractors and service providers (cooperation with technicians of contractors and suppliers)
• Conduct and document tests and inspections in accordance with regulations, incl. fire alarms, emergency lighting, racking systems, car chargers, and baler technology
• Maintain non-automated equipment and manage related consumables
• Plan and follow up on maintenance activities
• Support onsite waste management and cleaning services
• Management of the battery charging room
• Regular check of the Building Management Systems
• Report and respond to safety risks and incidents
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives

• Good understanding of warehouse operations and material handling equipment
