Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Road Freight Operator in Chodov (Prague), Czech Republic.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling and managing general cargo in Road, incl. full operational (technical) and cost control / profitability (commercial) aspects
  • Shipping all kinds of cargo and serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any road freight operations-related issues
  • Creating professional, high-quality transport solutions as well as preparation of freight calculations and quotations and support to tenders
  • Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors
  • Calculating and monitoring shipment profits
  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction and providing excellent service level
  • Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
  • Completing quality records in internal and external data systems

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • An efficient and experienced transport coordinator with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience
  • Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in road freight and work experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations.
  • Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM / CargoSoft system is an advantage
  • Capable of negotiating rates, terms and conditions
  • Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
  • Attention to detail and analytical processing of information.
  • Able to communicate in Czech and English fluent, both written and verbal
