Head of Global Sales Strategy and Operations

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Global Sales Strategy and Operations to lead and transform our global sales operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing our sales processes, from prospecting to contract signature. You will work closely with our CEO, CFO, regional presidents, and sales teams across four global business units, comprising over 450 sales professionals.
This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will set the vision for next-level sales operations and drive the implementation of best practices across the organization. You will be a key thought partner to our executive team, ensuring that our sales teams are fully equipped and motivated to deliver exceptional results.
What You'll Do

•    Strategic Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and CFO on all matters related to sales operations, including target setting, performance analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.

•    Sales Transformation: Lead a global sales transformation program designed to enhance account development, sales effectiveness, and automation. Implement and oversee policies, processes, and methodologies that govern the sales process.

•    Sales Planning and Forecasting: Drive global sales planning, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in our sales tools and systems.

•    Sales Effectiveness and Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and suggest improvements to enhance sales effectiveness. Utilize data-driven insights to assess and improve impact and ROI.

•    Sales Enablement and Training: Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and capabilities across the organization.

•    Sales Incentive Management: Manage the Sales Incentive Plan and its implementation across all sales teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and sales performance.

•    Technology and Innovation: Lead the specification, development, and adoption of sales tools and systems, including the integration of AI to optimize sales operations.

•    Leadership and Team Development: Lead and inspire a global team of 14 direct reports and 450 sales professionals across four business units. Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and engagement.

What We're Looking For

•    Experience and Expertise: 10+ years of leadership experience, with a strong track record of progression in sales operations within a complex, international B2B environment.

•    Sales Operations Mastery: Hands-on experience with CRM tools and platforms, and a deep understanding of sales processes and sales team dynamics.

•    Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Ability to think strategically while also focusing on execution. Strong analytical skills to leverage data for decision-making and continuous improvement.

•    Change Leadership: Proven experience leading large-scale transformations and driving change in global organizations. Ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.

•    Communication and Influence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and present effectively at the C-level.

•    Education: University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
