Customer Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Customer Development Specialist to join our team at Visible Magic. As a key member of our internal incubator initiative, you will be responsible for leading customer discovery and validation efforts for new startup ideas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct customer development interviews to uncover pain points and validate assumptions
  • Design and execute qualitative research methods to gather real-world feedback
  • Identify and validate real customer problems that align with the startup idea
  • Test the initial product/solution idea through customer feedback
  • Perform competitive analysis and market trend research to assess the viability of the startup idea
  • Compile findings into clear, actionable reports with data-driven insights
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to the internal incubator team
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in customer development, market research, or product validation
  • English proficiency
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize research findings
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to extract meaningful insights from customers
  • Familiarity with Lean Startup principles and design thinking methodologies
